Position Summary: 
 
We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented individual to join our small hotel team as a Breakfast Attendant & Housekeeping Staff Member. This dual-role position is responsible for preparing and serving the daily breakfast buffet, performing housekeeping duties such as cleaning guest rooms, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the hotel’s common areas. 

 

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to): 
 

Breakfast Service: 

 

• Set up and maintain the breakfast area before and during service 

• Prepare and replenish food and beverages as needed (may include light cooking, such as heating or baking items) 

• Greet guests and ensure a positive dining experience 

• Take food orders and serve to guests 

• Keep dining area clean and stocked, including wiping tables, refilling condiments, and restocking utensils 

• Clean up and break down the breakfast area after service 
   

Housekeeping Duties: 

 

• Clean and service guest rooms including changing/making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms 

• Replace linens, towels, and amenities according to hotel standards 

• Report any maintenance issues or damage to management 

• Restock housekeeping carts with supplies 

• Follow food service hygiene guidelines at all times 

 

General Cleaning: 

 

• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and stairwells 

• Take out trash, clean windows, mop floors, and sanitise high-touch areas 

• Assist with laundry when needed 

• Follow safety and hygiene guidelines at all times 

 

Qualifications: 

 

• Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or food service preferred but not required 

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively as well as work as part of a team 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness 

• Friendly, outgoing, professional attitude with good customer service skills 

• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, lift, and carry up to [25-50 lbs] during shifts 

• Must be 100% reliable and available to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
